Finally had first decent run in my 69T Sporto this afternoon. Acquired last year with oil leaks and transmission problems, I had the great good fortune of having Graham on here address these issues for me. So after new oil lines, vacuum tubes, Sporto wiring, servicing of the control valve etc etc., ...

I have to say that I think Mike's advice is eminently sensible, especially that of getting quotations BEFORE (dare I use capitals?) making a restoration purchase. Indeed, if one was embarking on one's first Classic car (especially Porsche) restoration one could get an enormous shock regarding costs ...

I suspect you are right Timo. Even from the photos this looks like another £30 - 40k restoration. Lovely colour though and would make a great car.
