Re: Tool Chests

http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=281060810550 Don't know if that link will work. We have these at work and they have put up well with being bashed about. I bought one for my tools at home a few years ago as I was impressed. Looks like they have gone up by £100 since though.

Re: NORTHERN DRIVE OUT - 25TH / 26TH APRIL

Good to see you all. Sorry I didn't hang around for the stop over, I feared the hotel might send the cook home early and Jason would get a bit shirty with someone :blackeye:

Thank you for the support while I tinkered with the linkage. Had all gears on the drive home. Hope to see you at Spa.

Re: '72E Sporto

Well I have been thinking of putting my sporto box back in (won't be for a while) as I had read a few threads on early911s about their growing rarity due to all the conversions over the years. It wasn't a bad driving experience from what I remember I just fancied the idea of a manual so changed it. ...

Re: does anybody take Certificates of Authenticity seriously

Hi Slope ...are they really worth having? Err, not really at the price they are...I have 2. I had never heard of them till I joined ddk, but thought why not and paid the money. It took months to come back, I had to keep badgering the dealer and when it turned up it was wrong. I asked for them to dou...

Re: Sporto wiring remove or leave

Ron, no worries I hopefully won't need anything. I bought a sporto because it was cheap and I swapped to a 5 speed as soon as I found one. It's been in the car 9 years now and MB Eng has just sorted a few problems it had so it will stay for a long while yet. I just thought I'd clean and check all th...

Re: Sporto wiring remove or leave

Hi Ron You will have to do a bit of re-wiring at the gearbox end as the switches are in a different place. You will also need to joint two wires together (the starting in gear cut out) the rest should just tape up and tuck away. I just recently dug my old sporto box out and cleaned it up as I have b...

Re: Various Parts For Sale

Hi Tim
The door locks 29/30 which parts are these exactly? I'm after the lock mechs from inside the door. Don't know their part no. and don't have a picture handy but it's part that hangs out the back of the door and latches to the B post.
I'll take both please if they are.
