Thanks Kings Lead Hat!
Right now I need some inspiration
I am a believer!
My first 911S was a left hooker from Holland
I will dig out an old photo.
I sold it to a couple of guys who planned to drive to Israel in it.
Reg number was ORT 395E or CRT 395E

We are still a little new to all of this in the early 911 world, but it is not uncommon elsewhere to pay more attention to the history, provenance and paperwork than the car itself. We will get there and this little car will find its place on that basis
Absolutely spot on Robert. You should never buy what is sitting in front of you but rather buy the history attached. As you say this car will find its level depending on the restoration approach taken.
Well I have the time! And the longer I work the more money available. Also I will have to sell my gen 2 GT3RS to pay for this but I think it is worth it.
Here is the photo of the first love of my life

One of the first things on your 'wanted' list are those headlights. Your project appears to have H4's.
That is going to be a tough find in Rhd.
Great picture by the way. What was the colour of the car?
Regards
Mike

The car had be resprayed and when I had some rust repairs I found that the colour used was Aubergine 025. I believe this was a colour introduced for 1972-3 model years
It looked better than this photo shows and in many lights was absolutely superb.
