Lower Body/Bumper Trims-Advice

I'm just about to fit the aluminium/rubber bump strips around the car. They come with a little clip on seal for between the trim and the body. Had a brief play about with it yesterday and it looks like it's going to be a royal pian in the a** to fit/keep fitted whilst trying to tighten the trim in. I'm sure loads have you have been there/done it. Any advice i.e. super glue it in place or similar that will save me from an evening on my knees using foul language.

Didn't put any of this trim on my car i'm afraid (no bumpers, no trim) - but I can take a look at the Chesil build manual and see what they recommend tonight if that helps.

I'm pretty sure it will boil down to lots of harsh language. Seal simply pops into a channel but then, just as easily pops back out, thats why I wondered about a few tiny dabs of super glue?
Can't be any worse than re-fitting windscreens into Beetles?

Oh the shame of it all.....I'd love to offer some plausible excuse but...no...I'm a f*nny!!!!! Went home and actually LOOKED at what I was doing and found that the little seals actually clip perfectly into the aluminium trim and don't shift thereafter....doh!!!!!! Only point worth mentioning is when you get to the curved ends, the retaining groove stops/gets crushed by the turn, so, I just snipped the back section that pops onto the groove away for just enough to cover the comprimised area. The compression holds it well enough once you tighten the trim down.
