Anybody know how much I should expect to pay for a set of Fuchs to suit me Speedster. Also, what size should I be looking for?

Anybody looking to offload a set? Might be in the market for some.

About £1000 for a ropey set......

I have a set spare, yours for £950 :)

But seriously, don't know what size is best for a speedster - 6x15's are normally more expensive than the 14 inchers. Saw a set of 5 14's for £400 last year at Husborne Crawley (which is next weekend). 6x15's you can get for 400-600 depending on condition or more if they're polished/refurbished.

Whereabouts are you based? If you want to pop round to see how they would look then let me know (I'm 15 mins from Husborne Crawley).

£1000 for a ropey set!!!

surely not!

I sold a set of 14x5.5 for £450 a couple of years, although not pristine they where damn good.

I replaced then with a set of 16s x 7 and 6" for £350 with crap tyres, very useable after a good clean and fettle though.

But £1000 should buy you a set of top banana quality, like new.

I think/hope he was joking!!!!!!!

Found this mob on E-Bay

So, what are my options for 15" then?

I know I'd have to get my 4 stud hubs modified but...what about 5 stud hubs?

Early deep dish 6x15s are a good size for a Speedster...
Fitted with period michelins they look good - 205/70/15 on the rear and 185/70/15 on the front.
Expect to pay £800 for a good set.
Ideally 5.5x15 on the rear and 4.5x15 up front but these would be closer to £1000!

here you go....

I had 5.5 x 14" on my Speedster.

A very similar tyre combination to what you are considering. From what I remember they were 175/55 on the front and 205/70 on the rear.

The side on view shows the meaty rubber on the back! In fact it looks a lot more extreme than it did in real life. It was a tight squeeze under there!

I think 14s look fine on Speedsters.

How about a set of replica fuchs -7 and 8 x 15s - Compomotive split rims - need refurb, not too bad though - offers, rims only no tyres
