Can anyone help? Would like to buy a reconditioned or good working pump. Alternatively can anyone recommend a decent and reasonable place to have one reconditioned.

You will find it hard to get..
What seems wrong at present?
Has a real expert looked at it?

Thanks David - sounds encouraging!
Shouldn't name names but yes an "expert" has looked at the engine but not taken the pump apart. Evidently when the hot start pipe is attached it barely functions!

I have a complete low mileage 2.4S mfi set-up which could be available for sale - but the price would probably make your eyes water !!

Thats not too bad..they often do that.
The thermostat thingy insoide gets bust..It can simply be disabled ..or replaced as a separate bit..
What is the problem..?

Hi, if the pump does need work I would recommend Fred Pentecost who trades as Tower Bridge Diesels. I have used his services for more than 25 years. Otherwise I will happily give an FOC 2nd opinion. Phone me during working hours 07956 079756.
