Front Suspension panel replacement

My car failed its MOT a few months back because of the dreaded orange rot between the front suspension mountings. I seem to remember a thread a few months back about buying (and replacing this panel).

I'm thinking about giving my local (trusted) bodyshop all the information he needs rather than going to a porsche specialist.

Can anyone point me in the right direction of the thread ?

Many thanks

Ouch, the memories of it have come flooding back...
(I'll try to recreate the picture hosting on my new account)
I ended up having the work done via Early911.co.uk - Nick Moss/Alan Drayson and was VERY pleased with the outcome.
I'm happy to chat about it you want to.

Cheers, yes I think that's it.

What's the general consensus on where to get the metal work ? Originals from Porsche or repro's from Watson autoparts or Bert at Beryln services ?

Is there a big difference in price ?

p.s Andy, I've still got that dash pad boxed and ready to send back to you. Any problems if I return it, I'm still searching for a good used one.
