Long time no see!
She is finally ready!!!
First time back on the road since 2005!!
By she I mean of course my 911E 2.4 -73 ex (hopefully also future) race car.
I did a full and I mean full to the dry ice blasting body strip to it with lots of new panels to it, including 4 new quarters from Porsche. I ended up spending of course way more than planned, but as you know once you start there is no going back.
I chose the gulf orange over blood orange as it just felt right. I believe the previous orange was slightly off the porsche color, but it looks amazing if you ask me. The floor underneath was treated with raptor paint and after still painted body color. All suspension restored of course. 915 magnesium gearbox was restored and engine with just a small service. I’m planning to do something with the engine, but I don’t know yet what.

I found out a lot about this car since the last time I wrote to this forum. However some of its history is still a mystery to me. If someone knows my car from “back in the days” I would love to hear some stories, pictures, race results etc. Especially of the time it was viper green as I have no records that other than we found it on several areas of the body during restoration.
Here are few pictures of it now and some from way back.

I raced against this car when it was in Ireland. Driven by Tom Hallssey and prepared by the late Howard Langridge. It was joint winner of the Irish Porsche Open Series circa 2003.
