Hi everyone
Have owned this car for a long, long time, it has mostly been in bits in the garage.

Quite a lot has been done, paint, suspension, brake etc, but the next challenge is Fuel Lines.

The original car had rubber hose with hose clips, the plan is to replace the tunnel centre lines with SS fared or possibly aluminium, and E10 compliant rubber with Swaged or crimped ends and compression fittings or flared connects where possible. Fuel Pump at the rear on this cars.

Would be great to hear for anyone with experience in this area.

I am in Wilts, not far from Shaftesbury.

As the main fuel line through the tunnel is under suction from the rear mounted fuel pump, and the return pipe is not under much pressure either, changing the pipes for swaged ends is probably an overkill. Check them visually through the various "windows" in the tunnel to see that they are not rusted, and replace all the rubber pipes with Cohline or similar quality tubing.
We were using the original pipes on our 1972 2.4S based hillclimb car, until we replaced the 3.2 MFI engine last year.
We're not that far way on the Somerset levels, and were back and forth through Shaftesbury weekend before last going to Gurston Down hillclimb :)

Sorry for delay in relaying further, got distracted with a road car problem. The 911 is being up from scratch, so nothing in the tunnels, probably going to use Aluminum Tube, and will replace the rubber with Cohline which several people have recommended. Are you at Gurnston this weekend?, I am going up tomorrow.

No, sorry, we are at Harewood for the British Championship rounds this weekend. We only have one weekend at Gurston in the BHC these days.
I think my Porsche pal Chris Wells will be at Gurston with his Mazda MX5.
