DDK - Die Deutschen Klassiker

I could well be rebuilding a 2.4 S engine very soon.

I'm looking to beg, steal or borrow the cam socket tool for the cam shaft end and the crows foot spanner.
I think the engine owner will be ok to give to the DDK Charity in return, but failing this, where can you buy them?
I think a new crows foot would be a good idea to get the best fit.

Any thoughts appreciated.

Is this the same as the SC crows’ foot Graham ?

Thank you Peter, I will check the a/f of the large cam nuts, but I think they are the same size up to the 3.2 engines that use the simpler bolt design to fix the cam sprocket to the shaft.
There is also the special cam locking/holding socket like 2 'D' shapes to hold the cam whilst the large nut is undone etc.

It is a 'maybe' at present as the engine is in the car, a DDK member's car, and we hope to remove the engine in the next few weeks.
It has an oil leak but the engine is coming out to find out if the 'source' is the case joint line or hopefully something easy like the breather cover.

If the case joint then a full strip is needed, hence the need for the tools.

Mine is the special combined tool - so much simpler, better, more robust, etc, etc than trying to hold a crows foot and the other tool. Don’t ask me how I know !, but it was well worth the mega money to me.

Available for borrowing by any bona fide DDK contributor (obvs only one at a time though)
