Hello,

I’m a little confused with the routing for the rubber hose from the fuel overflow socket?

I have a RHD 69t. Does it just hang inside the inner wing?

So it would be the following:
Large Hose from vapour box to fuel tank.

Smaller hose from vapour box to y piece, with further smaller hose the continue to bulkhead - hose to go through overrider bolt hole to vent.

And tiny dia hose from break fluid box to y piece.

I converted my ex-USA '71 car to the RoW venting system like this:



- the hose down towards the front of the car connects to a fixed steel pipe through the inner wing by the fuse box:




There is a similar steel pipe set into the inner wing up by the brake fluid reservoir - this is connected to a hose from the 'Y' piece (no.44 in diagram above) to allow any fuel spillage to drain down to the front outlet in the wing.






The overflow pipe from the brake fluid reservoir is totally separate.

On a 69 car it is as per the diagram above and vents through the front slam panel via the large lower hole into the back of front bumper. 69 is a weird year where the are a lot of SWB parts carried over and a lot of one year only parts. The 69 cars do not have the pipes that Andy shows in his pictures.
