I remember some chat on here a while back about fitting a spring which centres a 915 box to the middle to reduce slop. I wondered if those that fitted it had an update now they have done some miles as to how its performed and whether it was worth it.

Thanks Ian, makes interesting reading. Think I am going to give this a go myself.

I would, the springs sound like the kind of simple thing that should have been built into the mechanism in the first place

I got in touch with Karsten via Instagram yesterday, apparently he's not been on Pelican parts in over a year. He responded immediately and the spring was in the post yesteday. A job for over the winter, along with my washer and expansion tank removal plans.
