Received the latest issue of Classic Porsche this morning, I'm so glad I have a subscription to Octane.

I actually thought the latest issue was an improvement on issue 100 which was quite a letdown for a major milestone!

The 100th was a poor show, some previous issues I have found good and the latest one is even better, but all magazines vary on interest content of course.

Recent Octanes have been 'weak' and others super strong, but always something to savor when it thumps to the carpet by the door.
Why is it the Classic Porsche mag is in WH Smiths 5 days before my subscribed issues arrives?

On another hand, CAR magazine celebrated 60 years of the 911 with a whole bunch of great articles, and will be a keeper instead of a good friend getting them next.

I spend far too much on the bloody things!

Tried Magneto for a year figuring if David Lilywhite was there it would be ok and concluded after one year that it didn’t move the game on in any way from Octane. Still great when Octane arrives each month

Didn't he get sacked for having extremely weird sexual preferences and genuinely believing he was king of the leprechauns though?

Ha! Took me a while to work that one out - Cornish time is always a little slower!
