Hi All ,
Probably a stupid question but I am fitting K&N air filters with rain hats, the type that fit as a pair on top of the carbs - I am changing from the snorkel type however this has a pipe from the back of it to the oil filler. The new K&N filter obviously doesn’t have this fitting so what do I do with the excess pipe ? Remove and blank off oil filler end ? Thanks

Just to add a bit to this:
The K&N covers I have on my Lola 3.2 engine have a hole punched in the side, about 15mm dia which i assume is for the breather pipe to come to and any 'oily-air' is then simply aimed at the filter and ingested by the running engine.
Each cover has one of these holes.
