Story is up to Passo Gardena and Paso Giau so I'll add a few more pics to the pot:

Passo Gardena:
I had to take this one as a collage of 20 pics as when I used the wide angle lens it made all the cars stupid shapes!

Image

We were being buzzed by a drone at this point, would be great to see the photos :)
Image

Then up to Passo Giau, I was last up as my 130bhp had become about 100 by this point and coupled with the gradient I wasn't going anywhere fast!

Plenty of snow on the ground, and an absence of air!

Another stunning day, the Alps are good, but the drama of the Dolomites is something else

We stopped for petrol and saw a bunch of bonkers tractors going for some fun (as you do….). We thought this was really cool. James will tell you later where we met up with them again

The lunch stop was truly epic, completely unplanned and we had decided to pull into a car park to regroup. Walking down the hill and out into this was such a bonus.

And then the food!!! Homemade papadelle and game stew…! Which was what Mark M had for lunch.

Hotel car park left a bit to be desired though. All those chairs cluttering up the place…

Disgraceful. Do they not realise that people want scenic photos?

He ate this the day we stopped at the local place with all the locals eating there. To be fair, 12 people around the table all instantly ordered the same thing…

James - have you ever thought about a change of career - as an upmarket tour organiser/operator ?

I'd pay you to organise my next European trip !!
