A really great morning perfectly captured - apart from the rain!

Trip down to Greatworth was the last for our 911 this year, and the trip down the M5/M42/M40 this early morning were the most dangerous miles I've ever done in a car, horrendous rain and darkness.
Do 911's have headlights?

Trip back was in the clear sun!

Good to see/chat to so many there, look forward to next year's bash! :)

.

Sorry to have missed this event - I set out early(ish) in my Fulvia but, as Graham said, the conditions on the M42/M40 were horrendous so decided to turn round & come back home ...

Converting the lights to LED's will now be a priority (I've just done this on my Elite) ...

Indeed Andy.
I might have turned round but had promised Thomas I would be a steward!

One day the sun will shine on us!

And thanks for that Graham, much appreciated

Good to see plenty of old and new faces - apologies if I didn’t get a chance to chat. 4 hours flew by

And thanks to Angus and the team for hosting

Highlite for me is to wonder around Greatworth and esp to listen to Sam in the engine room.
The new floors in one of the shells was impressive, perfection of real spotwelds and not mig plug welds.
Quality work imho.

Hope Angus will have us back!

I’d echo the comments about the awful driving conditions and was pleased I had good tyres on the car. The weather didn’t spoil a good day though and Angus and team were just great, very welcoming and helpful. Sun would be good next time though…..

Yes, the lady who had the dog introduced herself as Angus' wife.
Arrived at the meeting sitting in its round basket.
Very friendly, didn't try to bite me!
