So having finished the interior, re carpeted, new seats, rear panels and door cards the passenger side(its a LHD car) electric wondow switch has decided to stop working ! It has does this once before and I cant remember how I fixed it !

I have changed over the switches and even with a good switch it doesnt work.

Do they have different switches for different sides ?

is there a connector in the door for the motor for the window ?

If anyone can help I would apreciate it as I dont fancy taking the new door card off unless I can help it !!

Door switches in my ‘79 are the same for both sides.

Window motors are wired directly to the switch.

If you have door speakers, you should be able to check the motor connections if you remove them (the speakers)
