Has anyone made or have a tool that enables easy removal/installation of our hinge pins that they could loan me for the next 3 months please while my car is at the paint shop (late Jul to early Sept)?

I think its the getting them back in without scratching paint that worries my painter the most - not much room there!

Happy to reimburse all shipping costs etc. of course!

Thanks for looking, cheers, Dean

Hi there,
I created an SDS version that worked well from a broken pry bar and SDS chisel.

Unfortunately its in use at the moment but wasn't difficult to make.

It looks like we need a fork at one end, and the ability to hammer or pull on the other, and long enough to reach the bottom hinge pin...

I just used a small pry bar to drift them out and a big punch to drive in the new ones

I'll give that a try Peter, otherwise, I might modify one of the pry bars that have never been out of the box...
