Hi All, Ive just listed my Chamonix / Beck 550 spyder with just about every upgrade available from Fibersteel USA and some not available installed.
She's a rare car and quite simply put absolutely beautiful. When they did the listing they couldn't fit all the details of items that have ben upgraded.
The car was mistaken at the LE Mans Classic for a genuine factory 550 by the Pits and ushers.
So you Spyder nuts, even if you aren't interested in purchasing you should go check out the pics and details.
Go checkout the listing in cars for sale.
Oh and they just posted up an article about it as its there most viewed car this week and it only went up on Friday lol. Enjoy.

Re: Chamoni / Beck 550 Spyder with every upgrade
Were you happy with the auction result? And did the sale complete okay? The price seemed reasonable to me, a good result I thought. But what do I know about replicas?
1970 911T, Signal orange (Restoration thread)
1988 3.2 Carrera backdate, Black
2001 996 Turbo, Lapis blue (am I allowed to put that here?)
I'm looking for a pre-impact bumper 911S or other high-revving 911 to restore - please let me know if you see one.

Re: Chamoni / Beck 550 Spyder with every upgrade
The owners of the Beck brand estimate £75k-£100k to remake a 550 with the level of upgrades my car has but that wouldn't include the one off engine or short axle trans. They would charge extra for those. There is also a 3-4 year waiting list for new cars.
A more standard Beck / Chamonix 550 sold last November for £69k
So my reserve was a bit higher than £61,500 and as such didn't sell.
It's about to appear in an issue of Porsche world mag and its going back up on the Cars n Classic auction around the same time.
The car has just had a new electronic ignition, alloy rear wheel closing panels as per factory cars, and also a few alloy details around the clam shell such as reinforcing strips etc.
I'm in no rush to sell. The Alpine I wanted sold.

I see.
I was looking at a 904 replica recently, wondering what prices are like. But nowhere near as good as your Beck 550, in all sorts of ways.
