914 RHD conversion. Which pedal box?
Hi everyone,
Can anybody help. Converting my 914 to RHD drive which is the best pedal box to use? I am guessing a 911 but seems very hard to find and very expensive is there a good alternative?
Has anyone got a RHD pedal box for sale?
Many thanks in advance

Wayne (rhd racer) and Moriarty on here are the two who will have most experience of this, worth making contact with them.
Guessing you're in the South-west somewhere, there are a few 914's hidden away with reasonably sociable owners..........

Re: 914 RHD conversion. Which pedal box?
Hi
I used a 911 pedal box from a breakers. I asked them to cut out the section of floor it sits in too (it is a small pressed well, dropping the pedals slightly) and grafted it in. It was pretty straight forward to be honest, although I think from memory I needed to do some clearancing for the MC on the other side, but that may have been my car which had been prepped for a servo, something I chose not to pursue.
It may, of course, be a little more difficult to get a RHD pedal box these days, but I would try the usual suspects who are converting 911s to rally cars or EVs, as often that involves a Wilwood adjustable set up.
Happy to help with any aspect of the conversion. If you haven’t yet connected the steering, you might need some help, as it will knock……
Hope that helps

It's a 914 converting to a 914-6 with a 6 cylinder and converting to rhd
Re: 914 RHD conversion. Which pedal box?
Hi As Wayne said the best and easiest way is to to use a 911 rhd pedal box if you can find one! but they are getting very hard to find, if you search on line on Australian or South Africa sites you may find some threads on alternative pedal box solutions used.
Good hunting.
