That round plug is there in the hybrid loom but no sensors etc. On the engine or connected or bypassed.
Has run perfectly since installation.
Do you know what your CO is at warm idle?

No Rob, the MoT man sees the car as a 73T so outside of any emission testing.

That might be the difference. I could get mine to idle ok with a slightly high idle speed, but I'm hoping this o2 sensor will fix the emissions.

My 1986 3.2 Carrera has a CO2 warm idle of 0.70…the limit is 4.50.

The HC ppm VOL is 37 out of a 1200 limit.

It’s been like that for years but I’ve never really questioned whether that’s good or not?

I always make sure it’s fully up to temperature prior to the MOT though.

I used to have a V12 BMW 8 series…now that WAS fun trying to get it through an MOT !!!

Thanks. If that's CO it's good and low. Mine I think was 5 or 6 without the O2 so it'll be interesting to see how much having one brings that down.

Short story.
UK cars did not have CAT from factory, this car is meant to run a solid 1.5% C02 at idle.
You can set it higher so it runs nicer
Mines set higher that 1.5%

More than 2% CO would be very stinky and yield lousy MPG.

It's only at idle. I think the mixture is good under load and other engine conditions.
