Back to Bahama Yellow
After my 1967 912 has spent far too many years in Light Ivory .......
I made the rather rash decision to put it back to it's factory original Bahama Yellow over the Christmas and New Year period and I've just finished fitting it all back up.
Soooooooo pleased with the new colour - and in the entire process only found one really grotty area which necessitated a new off side front wing that I got via Porsche Centre Leicester.
also fitted up some new wheels from Group4 Wheels - their Torque Thrust replicas that I ordered in the raw blasted finish that I then Cerakoted at home - and fitted some new 165 Pirelli CN36 from Longstone. I've still got the Fuchs in the sidelines but these make a great change!
The colour isn't everyone's cup of tea but I'm sooooooo glad I've done this - love it!
Hopefully I'll manage to use it a bit more than I have done over the last couple of years!!!!

Re: Back to Bahama Yellow
Superb! What a difference. And great choice of wheels (although I am a little biased...).

A good rash decision indeed.

Great colour, good decision. Anything that’s not black, white, grey or silver gets my vote

.
Excellent decision & result !
I agree with Mike - Bahama Yellow is a fabulous colour on a swb 911/912.

Re: Back to Bahama Yellow
Thanks everyone for the kind words - appreciate it!
I've also posted in the wanted section but don't suppose anyone has a good condition silver / chrome "S" from the "P O R S C H E" script on the engine lid going spare do they?
mine only has one pin present so I'd like one with both pins on.
I've tried Karmann Konnection but they don't seem to reply to emails or instagram messages or answer their phone. And I'd rather not be forced down the route of buying a full new set of letters from my OPC - Thanks
