Rather than swamping (or diluting) the thread on the Giroflex series, thought I'd start a new thread on 913 chassis #0154, the car which ended up being restored by Kremer for the late Paulo Faldini.

First of all, when it was brand new and delivered to Kiemele. It was big news, even making the press...

In 1981, I got to be a passenger in the car with owner Gavin Watson, but I had also spied it at a PCGB track day at a very basic Goodwood a year or so earlier.

I never expected to cross paths with this amazing car in years to come, or to lap the ’Ring in it at its post-restoration debut...
