I have purchased a 3.2 to transplant into my 72 911 I have just about gathered all the info I need for the transplant all im lacking is how the fuel pump is wired up? Does the 3.2 have a seperate fuel pump relay triggered from the DME or is the fuel pump run from the DME relay?

I presume its one of the wires the runs from the main engine loom to the front of the car forward of the DME???

I have 3.2 in my backdated car aswell but don't know the answer to this one.

You may find some useful information on this site.

Also visit the pelican forum as they have guys who know a hell of alot!

Look into a Bentley Manual for the 3.2 as I am sure the answer will be made clear. I'll try to get around into looking into mine for you.

deja vu! But I tought it was me that gave you that link!

Unfortunatly the only bit of wiring I need thats not mentioned there is the fuel pump, I have now found out it is run from the DMA relay I just need to determine the pin!

I dont yet have the bently manul although im seriously considering buying it, in the meantime if you could chk yours for me and let me know what pin on the DMA relay the fuel pump live comes from it would be most apreciated!

I have a Bentley manual for the 3.2 if you're interested. Used but not abused - few oily fingermarks! Half cover price plus post - say 50 notes?

Hey there dude.. sorry for the late response.

Ok so From the DME Control Unit Relay you have a Red/green (wire) to the Luggage compartment Fuse box [Fuse 3 25A] and then a Red (wire) to the Fuel Pump.

Again apologies buddy.. if you need anymore help then I can scan the page for you and mail it to you. Although that would mean unpacking my scanner/printer fax thingy. :)

Hi Dyno Soar im sure that info will be just what I need thanks however I wont be looking at the wiring again now for a few weeks I decided as the engine is out I may as well overhaul it so now its stripped to the crank for new bearings, seals, rings and valves etc. That should keep me bussy for a few weeks. If you could get round to scaning the DME wiring diagram that would be a great help but im not in no major rush for it. Does the diagram show the actual pin number on the DME relay that the wire goes to?

Thanks Steve
