Newly acquired 59 356A
So it finally happened. I took ownership of a 356. Ruby red, 2 previous owners. Restored in 2019. Sat in a Tennessee barn from 1972 to 2019.
I’ve been fettling for a week - doing lots of little snagging jobs - post restoration. I just love it.
Mostly correct, a few things not 100% perfect (like the ariel position) but that’s good by me. Had a PPI done and Brett Johnson went over the photos with me.
I’ve added a link below with a shared folder. Despite what some peculiar DDK forum members say about me (Neil - you know who you are) I’m not a dealer. Just a chap who enjoys the Porsche brand and worked their way up from a 3.2 Carrera to a 356.

That looks great.
I'll keep my eyes open for a red 356 around the midlands then.
Enjoy.

In two years time for sure. Until then, it’ll be with me in Torontohashman wrote:That looks great.
