I'm always intrigued by the valuations of plates like this. As an 'M' plate, it can't go on anything earlier than 1974 model year cars, so the 72 can't relate to the year of the Porsche, leaving 'POR' as the valuable bit. Is that £6500-worth of value? Who knows. It's a strange world, that of the car reg numbers... GLWS.
