Great to get the little jobs done.
What's left to fettle now?

Not much now, exhaust heat shield replacement, tidy up a few areas underneath. But not much!

With more time on my hands at weekends, am dabbling in car art for the first time in anger. Done the Alfa, a mate's Healey hot rod is now underway. Passes the time

New adjustable ramps being put to good use and paid for themselves already as an underside refresh was made possible on the driveway.

Obviously the Alfa is exempt given its age, and its not had an MOT for a few years (I have owned it since May 2020) but, given it has a great history, is still sub 100k miles and its always good for peace of mind, I took it to its MOT today. Big test centre, only does tests, no servicing. After what felt like a lot of prodding, shaking, twisting and poking (bit like my last medical) it PASSED! With no advisories (unlike my last medical). Love the little Alfa.

And a Targa and an E-type - the good weather had them all out.

When your car is off in storage for months you start thinking about selling it. Irrational (or perhaps rational) thoughts of reducing numbers start plaguing my thoughts!
I really should keep it.

I think you are right, we all do!
They are enchanting and now Drew Pritchard has said 'thiers' was better than his early 911, well, job done.
A long time friend has just bought his 4th, a long line of alfa enthusiasm from was before they became main-stream.
Cracking in white too!
