Hi Guys
I have a rear chassis section with torsion tubes that I no longer need, I am going to put it in the classifieds but I wanted to confirm what 356 it is from so I describe it correctly.
I know it's not from an A but is it a BT5 or BT6 or C?
Would also like to know what sort of price I should ask for?

Hi Drew sorry I cant give advice on the cost of your spares, but I like the look of your jig its sitting on.
Is it home made or purchased.
Have you posted about the jig previously and I missed it ?

Karl

Hi Karl
Yes it is a home made chassis jig apart from the front torsion bar mounts that I bought.
It is a very accurate way to check for straightness.
It has heavy duty castors and levelling feet.

Drew,

If you can look under it, have a look and see if it has a plug hole where you backside sits on each side.

It should be filled with a metal plug.

If this is there, it's a BT6.

Value, have a look what restoration design parts are going for and make a conservative guess dependent on the shape of your part.

Thanks Drew, I've just realised I have seen your jig before on the ABCGT forum.
Your work is inspirational!

Karl.
