I'm interested to know what that bar is running across the back seats. The back seats do have a tendency to flop forward but I've never seen this solution before.

Isn't that just a fold of carpet showing through? I don't think it's a bar of any kind.

You're right Keith, my eyes were fooling me. My car doesn't have that lower bit of back, the bit under the fold of carpet, so don't look like that.

Thanks.

7 years ago you could defo still get all the bits from Porsche to turn a 964 cab or Targa into a Speedster.

That’s how this was done: https://germancarsforsaleblog.com/right ... speedster/

There is something special about an open car and a mountain road.
964 C2 Targa. 205 1.6 GTi. Testarossa. Fisher Fury Fireblade. Motorhome. Motorbikes. Scooters. Pushbikes. Threadbare Saucony Peregrines. Dog. Human relations and friends. 97.5%-built house.

That's John Thornton's old car - he raced it for several years before his death ~ 5 or 6 years ago.

I had a ride in it back in 2011 (when I was over in the US for Rennsport Re-union) & had a few beers with John - along with Bob Tilton & a few others.

The car had/has some neat individual touches ...

I didn't know you have been in 902. Very nice
