The other 911 T/R that springs to mind is the car rallied by Brian Powley in the late 80s and early 90s. This car had a 906 Carrera Engine and had an extensive race history before that. I had the privilege of co driving for him in the 1990 West Cork Rally. when it won the Historic a Section for the second year running.

Correct Dave........not quite sure why they describe it as 'paint to sample' in their advert, standard '6809' Blutorange/tangerine.

I hadn't 'twigged' that the car for sale was the one formerly owned by Tim - there's another RHD T/R owned by a DDKer ...

From looking into t/r's I believe there are 5 RHD cars, for a long time there were thought to be only 4 examples, however Tim's old car makes 5. Cracking car and restored recently, great balance between retaining as much originality as possible and using NO.s parts.

Hi Mark, hope all is well - interesting comment you make. I am aware of Tim's former tangerine car as discussed above, Philip's similarly-coloured ex-Dan Margulies car, the silver ex-Paddy McNally car and another tangerine car that went to Hamilton's in Australia. What am I missing? Curious to know what you've discovered! Best wishes, Robert

What is that? Lots like a very ugly abarth kit gone wrong

Pic looks like a 616 motor not a four cam like the description suggests.

I think the description is (misleadingly) referring to the original Carrera Abarths ...
