Photos in old restoration threads disappearing?

Have you noticed that a lot (like 75%) of the photos in these restoration threads have expired (blurred out)?
WTF?
I think this bulletin needs be modified to prevent this from happening again. (direct photo upload for example)

It's because Photobucket decided to start charging for its services, and promptly made it impossible for anyone to view images unless paid for. Use Postimage or similar (or direct upload through Tapatalk on your phone) and there's no problem. There's nothing that can be done about those missing images without them being reposted...

I rebuilt mine from Flickr and have used tapatalk for ages. All will be fine until tapatalk goes down then they will be blank again!

Photobucket did decide to allow images to be seen again all be it watermarked
However in the last two weeks they’ve had issues and images haven’t been served. They say there I’ll reappear but they are in a mess and best use another service
