Car is still stripped and rusty, in a less than half restored state but these just arrived.

They’re very nice, but rightly or wrongly I have stick on vinyl plates on mine.

They will look good when fitted. My AFN car around 50 cars before yours had the original ones fitted when I bought it in the 60's. They had drilled through the front bumper rubber deco to secure and when I bought similar plates to yours I used the same holes for nuts and bolts. The back one too had the holes to secure.
Some use brackets on the front. I had reflective plates stuck on for about 10 years not even black then but white and yellow. I like my original looking black ones!

That's great, Roy. I've never been a fan of the stick on above the bumper look (just my personal taste. I mean no offence : ) There is no right or wrong way, obviously

I intend to hang my front plate from the bumper but ... I don't have any ... yet.
However, my first thought on your post was the horror that they drilled the front of the bumper.
But then I realised, I'll have to do the same, somewhere, to hang it below on brackets.

Anywho. This is all a long way off yet.

Nice plates "Addict". Quality work. Mine were still painted on. Now, since the change of States in Australia and the need for new QLD plates the original painted ones are retained, but underneath the new 'plates. Goes with the original paint as part of the history.

I LOVE that painted front plate.

To keep the QLD state authorities happy, the front plate - TYP356 - is under the bumper". The "Climb to the Eagle" event sticker on the front bumper covers the ID of the former State, "SA" (South Australia; "SA 1832", its original registration anywhere). Just in case the speed cameras get confused.

Wish we could get plates like 3ft Deep's here
