Parking tickets !!

Hayley and I went into town today to do some shopping. Harrogate is mad at the moment with all this World Champion Cycling racing thing.
When we were finished, there was a traffic warden writing out a parking ticket. We went up to him and I said, "Come on how, about giving us a break, we're locals ?" He just ignored us and continued writing the ticket.
Dick.
I called him a dick. He glared at me and started writing another ticket for having worn-out tires.
Idiot.
Hayley called him an idiot. He finished the second ticket and put it on the windscreen with the first. Then he started writing more tickets.
This went on for about 20 minutes. The more we abused him, the more tickets he wrote. He finally finished, sneered at us and walked off.
Just then our bus arrived, and we got on it and went home.
Probably best to avoid Harrogate for the next nine days
