I just can't get my head around why this guy continues to do this to his customers.  It makes no business sense and the sheer hassle of dealing with a constant stream of very unhappy creditors must surely take it toll?

He is clearly managing to carry on as usual despite these bursts of bad publicity.  Plenty of stock and positive stories being pushed out.  It suggests that only a small proportion of prospective and actual owners of classic Porsches engage with the forums and he is still therefore able to keep on trading.

I can't help thinking at some point this is all going to come home to roost.  Why not just pay when you should and enjoy a good night's sleep for a change?

They seem to spend an awful lot of time threatening forum owners to remove threads about them by the looks of it so even those engaging with forums may struggle to see the stories before placing their car with them.

They never seem to have the balls to answer the accusations head on so I presume have no answer for them?

My problem with SOR is people think their money is safe. But if a business is failing and owes the bank etc then when they receive funds from a sale the creditors just take their money back and the business struggles to pass the funds on to the owner. We see it all the time that businesses heavy into SOR, not just in cars, go bankrupt and customers who sold via them just before the point of bankrupt lose all their money in the process....

Appears they hastily edited silver 3.2s off the IG once I commented that their business acumen seemed lifted directly from the Trunt fantasy 'Art of the deal' nonsense... twats indeed.

The issue is that we on the forum know who it is, but due to potential legal action we can't name and shame. As a result the person who wants a nice Porsche doesn't see anything bad pop up about these guys. On top of that they are very good at proactive advertising, on social media particularly.

I know everyone should do due diligence etc etc but if the company has been around for a number of years, and on the face of it have a good reputation, its easy to think it will all be fine. Especially with a SOR when you assume (wrongly), that its your car and so the acting agent will just take their cut and you're paid.

Really feel for the sellers here, its a lot of money we are talking about.
