Friday was a good day, firstly the car was loaded for an early morning trip to Cleaning Consultants in West Sussex for media blasting, these guys do a fantastic job and don't prime the car so you know exactly what you're dealing with once returned.....

....secondly, I received a very large, but very light, package from EB Motorsport.....

Image

....full of beautifully made quality glass goodies 8) ....

....and finally for reference purposes I was priviledged the opportunity to get close up and personal with a very, very special car.

Inspirational and then some 8)

Lots of photos Feroz although nothing I can share and mostly boring reference shots of areas you don't get to see but invaluable to me :)

Cleaning Consultants blasted my car 20 years ago - I didn't know they were still around. Is it in the same ownership and still at Loxwood?

....that's the plan Guy all being well......a period correct build with all the small details too.

....yes still the same people Ralph, they did plan to wind things up and retire although that's now on the back burner....I've seen a number of shells media blasted but none as good as Cleaning Consultants :)

The cleaning process did indeed reveal I had a nice original unmolested car.....

...fortunately I wasn't around to reflect!....first removal of the underseal....

...followed by blasting....

....who's a lucky boy! :) .....

....obviously there's rust but nothing too severe and a tad of what I've encountered before.

Lucky indeed :)
