Making a start on stripping out the dash on my 71 targa - it’s missing a few switches judging by the holes and wires going to them- what am I missing ?

Yup USA market 911t Targa - it’s also got a small hole to the right of the steering column that you can just make out in my pic

Do you have your appropriate glovebox handbook?
Every instrument control and it’s position are shown on a handy diagram in there depending on export country of origin.

You have an aftermarket radio too by the looks of it. And a cracked dash, that’s going to be fun.
All the best.

Mike

My German spec car has a hole to the right of the steering wheel like the original picture. However, it was originally hidden under the aluminium dash trim and not actually used. I have now put it to good use as the indicator LED for my bluetooth adaptor indicator on the back of my Blaupunkt Frankfurt radio.
