Welsh Quickie...... Evo triangle that is!

Post by Mike »

At very short notice Mitch, Ferry Man and I decided a quick run to Wales and the 'Evo Triangle' was a good idea, so after an early M4 meet up we hit the Seven bridge....

The weather was great and the roads as good as ever. Perhaps a little busier but (as the schools haven't broken for Summer holidays just yet) not too bad.

We'd taken the southern route so along the M4 to junc 36 then up central south wales, I think someone called Feroz may have had a hand in the route.....

First stop, fossil fuel/alternative energy, a debate for another day perhaps!

Mitch and Ferry Man are Welsh driving experts of old, so not only do they know the best fast roads, they also know where to eat:

One of the highlights of day one was as we crossed the Brecon Beacons, a fantastic sweeping road with great sight lines, just watch out for those hidden sheep
Sorry for the lack of pics of these great roads, we're busy driving of course, always one for photo opportunity when we park up though....

Ferry Man is an exceptional photographer, so only too happy to do a couple of runs for him to show off the view from up here.
