Now sold

    Up for sale is my 1973 factory RHD 911T Targa. Located in Qld Australia

    Built 23rd feb 1973.
    911T RHD UK delivered Targa
    Matching number, 5 speed manual
    Original Colour (Metallic Gemini Blue)
    Owners manual
    Thick receipt folder dating back to early 90’s
    Glass out re-spray in the 90’s (photos of the work)
    1 of 176 RHD Targa’s in the world
    COA from Porsche confirming matching number
    Full engine rebuild to 911E specs by Phil Hearne, Auto Coupe - Melbourne. (still retaining ‘T’ spec webbers)
    Near new stainless Dansk exhaust
    Paint is great
    Perfect driver with nothing to spend
    Going by the history, its done approx. 20 000 miles since 1993. (missing original service book)
    Rocker covers have just been re-machined and new gaskets fitted, along with valve adjustment.
    Webbers have just been re-sealed and some old fuel lines replaced.
    Recent service

    It really is an awesome car and i'm still in two minds about selling, but unfortunately i can’t keep them all and with so many P-cars on my wish list, this one has to make way for the next.

    Nice looking car Mick. Rare too. Great colour.
    You definitely have the weather for a targa over there.

    Tell us a bit more about the radio and the dash top. Where does the sound come out? No speaker grille. Are those speakers in the door cards?

    yes, speakers are tucked in the pockets on the door cards, done well before my time.

    Surely you guys get a few days of Targa weather per year? To be honest, i rarely take the top off anyway!
