1968 Porsche 911L in Irish green and tan interior
One year only car - one of only 449 made and is the US equivalent of the European S model.
Matching numbers car, original 1991cc flat 6 engine, 5 speed 901 transmission, complete interior and even has the original tool kit still intact.
The car will need a paint job and restoration work. As far as metal work involved, the front battery tray and drivers side rear inner wheel arch - just under the kidney bowl and spring plate cover needs attention. The rest of the floors, sills etc believe it or not are very solid with only surface rust.
The car comes with a full history file from the previous owner who parked the car in 1988 and the car was in good running and driving condition when parked. Previous work included a transmission rebuild and top end rebuild on the motor.
This is a very rare car and if you know what you are looking at, you will know what restored examples are worth.
