well it seems the time has come for my original upper rocker covers to finally warp
Anyone got suggestions on where & howmuch I should expect to pay for some new 'turbo' ones?

This post
http://www.ddk-online.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php?t=4224 talks about some thick silicone gasgets you can get that come highly recommended - might save you a few bob depending on how warped yours are. Remember to use new Nylock nuts when you put them back on as they apparently form part of the oil seal.
The guy where I take mine has some scarey stories about how expensive the upper covers are but didn't tell me where to get them.
I've got my lower covers off right now. Any idea if there's an order in which to tighten the 11 nuts up in? I guess its the usual "opposites" routine. And should I put any sealant on the new (standard) gasgets?

My uppers cost about £120 each. Ouch.
It is nice to be able to pull into a petrol station though and not find clouds of white smoke around the car when you come out.

I got my uppers for £50 at Husborne last year. Obviously bagged a bargain
