DDK - Die Deutschen Klassiker

Has anyone got one of these little pocket rockets. Collected mine today and very impressed. Everything you need from a car. Must be the 180hp competizione model or the Biposto which is 10k more for 10 extra hp.
22k for a comp 180 new, mine isnt a year old yet and picked it up from Abarth Nuneaton for 14.5k. Massive 1st year hit.
Great little cars.

I tried one a couple of years ago; great fun to drive like Fiats of old. The bar-stool driving position, non-existent rear legroom (behind a tallish driver) and lumpy ride made it a no go for me. They do seem expensive though, compared to hot Minis or discounted BMW 135s at £25k.

I drove a biposto in the summer and it was pretty good.. It was fun but I felt like a cooper s works would wipe the floor with it - the handling and grip of the mini is pretty biblical, although probably "not as much character" in some peoples opinion.. (by which I mean more refined I guess and less lumpy/bouncy)

I was WAY less impressed when I found the biposto I was driving (lsd, plastic windows, bucket seats, exposed gear lever, etc..) was about €60k worth
You get NOTHING as standard; the options list is hilarious - actually makes a new Porsche look well equipped

Other than that never even been in a "new 500"

Fantastic little car. Wouldnt change it for anything. Love it.
