DDK - Die Deutschen Klassiker

I've posted these images on Facebook for my 'virtual' friends but maybe you - my real friends - would like to see some photographs from this weekends visit to 'the Pod'. I've not been to Santa Pod for many years and it's been far too long. The home of European Drag Racing hosted a retrospective of the days when front engined slingshots ruled the quarter mile. There were funny cars, altereds, jet cars and hot rods. So much to see in a full weekend of entertainment that included a cracklefest & fire-burnouts. It reminded me of many happy days from my youth, make sure to put this event on your calendar for next year, it's wonderful.
