Is Saturday just a practise day or is it 2 separate events across the 2 days with practise in morning and times runs in the afternoon ?
Might try to make it down to have a gander if I can persuade Sarah to come along.

Hi John,
hope you had a good event. Plan was to come down in the RS having worked on it all day Saturday. But sadly it wasn't ready to go by the end of the day and I've ended up working on it all day today so didn't manage to make it. As ever, every little job took twice as long as expected, came across as many little jobs as I completed, and broke 1/2 as many things as I fixed
I'll have to come out and do one of the sprint/hillclimb events then I can't back out. Any recommendations after CLM ?
Regards
Andrew

It was a good event in the end..................
I was struggling with a bad back/sore neck for several days before, had a flat tyre on the trailer on the way there, weren't really on the case in 1st practice, broke a drive-shaft on the line in 2nd practice, and then the week-end brightened up!!
In true hillclimb fashion, all of the competitors rallied round to lend a hand, and we managed to fit our spare (but not quite the same......

) drive shaft, do 3rd practice, and both Laura and I improved to more sensible times in the actual event - although a very long way off the storming times Mr Howells was doing in his beautiful RSR!
I'll post a photo later of the drive shaft - it was an absolutely classic torsional fracture!
So yes - brilliant event!
The next ones are -
May 28 / 29 Gurston Down BARC SW Centre
July 2 / 3 Harewood BARC NE Centre
July 30 & 31 Wiscombe Park Woolbridge MC
Aug. 27 & 28 Gurston Down BARC SW Centre
Sept. 24 / 25 Loton Park Hagley & District LCC
Oct. 1 Prescott Bugatti Owners Club
Enter one or two (or more!) Andy - they are great events, tight competition, and brilliant company!
