T25 Camper
New toy for me
Very impromptu and not planned but sometimes things are presented to you and you think why not.
I've had a few campers over the years and sold my last VW Splitscreen bus many moons ago. With 2 kids and an extended family these days I thought why not have another camper for days out and a bit of camping
My old mucker Miggs and co founder of this church is going through a few life changes himself and wanted to part with his T25 camper which he lovingly built a few years ago.
I've always liked the 'brick' styling of the T25 - slab sided if you please Miggs spent a lot of time and effort planning out and building a bespoke camping interior so after some discussions involving watches and cash we've now just got to get it prepped up and mot'd so I can get cruising.
Miggs ended up building a Bus with simple cool styling taking in many influences of the VW and other custom scenes and with a very usable interior with a double rock and roll bed, fridge, hob, sink, 240v electrics, split charging leisure battery, petrol powered heater and lots of clever storage. It has seating for 5 with seat belts and DC Comics from 1990 (vans year) on the door panels. Oh and I forgot - a toilet
With an awning in tow I'll be hitting the coast as much as I can this year.
It was featured a couple of years back in Camper and Bus magazine and I've included the intro spread below which is worth a read (if you can) and kind of reiterates that this new toy was meant to be for me
A few pics - more to follow once I start cruising and......
No dogging jokes

Cool, on my list too...
Re: T25 Camper
I like that...Norfolk coast, bbq on the beach as the sun sets, Patsy Kensit, couple of beers, one thing leads to another, sneaky flash of boobs, before you know it....helicopter gunship.
Living on the beach...even for a night...more dangerous than you'd think.

Cool. I don't have a dog and I'm frightened of gunships but can I come and watch the sun set on a Norfolk sea

Re: T25 Camper
That is very smart, I'm envious.
Ferry Woman fell in love with life in a camper van after spending a month in one down in NZ.
I'm currently experiencing considerable domestic pressure to buy one so you can likely predict the outcome....

So Thomas going to be a summer of you trawling the Narfffak camp sites in search of tattooed women with small hands, dosn't make you a bad person. Strange but not bad

Give her a night in Norfolk in one and I'm sure you can dissuade her!

Re: T25 Camper
Really tempted with a t4 as a daily/workhorse van/tow car/"family"* waggon for days out at the beach and things..
