...despite miserable weather there was good support with around 80 various, mostly modern, Porsches and Ferraris making the effort. As with everything Dick Lovetts do the event was superbly organised....the coffee and breakfast was delicious
All in all quite an event, looking forward to the next one.....
Cheers,

I'm far from being "a Ferrari guy", but for me, THIS all day long!

looks like a cool way to spend a sat morning, the work shop is Very Impressive
I believe the Ivory 65 car is an Historika build.... bit strange for Lovetts to purchase this...

Darren, great pics... I didn't take many, too busy talking. Thought it was a really good take on the cars n coffee theme and organised really well by real enthusiasts.
The location of Porsche, Ferrari and their Specialist Cars showrooms next door to each other works really well for something like this. Maybe it was the crappy weather but most folks turned up in moderns of one sort or another and with any luck there'll be more early cars at future events. Although, hats off to my pal John who arrived in the Ariel... he thawed out, eventually!
I'd have happily driven home with that AC Bristol Ace or the Dino 246 GT... both lovely.
The Mongrel out-cooled pretty much everything and attracted lots of attention, incl some really positive comment from Chris Harris. My mate's lad is now another fully paid up member of the Mongrel Mob.
