Anyone fancy being the 'sacrificial lamb' out front
Would we get the chance anyway? Isn't July annual strike and blockade the roads month for the French farmers and truckers

No camping ticket or UPS contact yet....
Just did an online booking for comprehensive RAC European cover, a bargain £61!! Still considering how likely my car is to break down it's probably well worth it.
I pressed print on the policy document and upset everyone in the office by printing out 57 colour pages of exclusions and get out clauses! "Your car has to be roadworthy free from any defect ... and serviced in line with manufacturers recommendations" "service history documentation may be needed in the event of a claim" Will my Excel list of parts and dates keep them happy
Never had any issues with the RAC in the UK so hopefully they won't get jobsworth about it abroad. How many of us can honestly say our vehicles are serviced in line with manufacturers recommendations?
The fuel pump that let me down on the Northern event last year is still going so fingers crossed! I know how to fix it now anyway. Take it out. Look at it. Put it back. Job done
My big annual service got underway last night, should be back on the road by the weekend all filtered, lubricated and clearances set, I may even fix the passenger window lift so Glenn can breathe on the way down!
I was wondering just how I'm going to get all the camping gear, two big blokes and a toothbrush in the 911, and now I need to make space for a 57 page RAC policy!

If anyone's worried about breaking down - I just arranged breakdown cover for my 1981 911 - £29 for five days with Norton. Seemed a fair price to me. Next time I'll try to get insurance cover that includes it though...
