Hi,

My front nearside suspension has gone very noisy especially now with warm whether. Tried WD40 on the lower arm components but steal squeaky when I push down on front wing. Can the shocks dry out to cause this noise? They do seem to be doing their job though.

Possibly squeaky bushes on the control arms?

My shocks were dry as a bone when they were changed, they were making a golf ball bouncing noise, the bushes were causing a squeak and were equally as old. I have to wait until tomorrow to test the improvements.

Thanks for the replies and I will jack the car up in the morning and check the control arms as well.
