Just that time of year again when I have to renew my insurance I have done so but he did ask about values of cars and where would I like to be.....

well... good question! I have no idea!

so any one who knows my 69, 12 Burgundy one where do you think I should be on value for the car?

I've got to be honest, from being on the ball for the market and cars values for many years I now find my self asking for some one else's advice on this as i have been out of the loop for some time..

There is the Hagerty valuation tool, but the 912 is not listed on it.
Might be worth giving them a ring as to why, and what values they hold on their records?

Also look at this site, for 912 auction prices over the past 5 years to 2014 in the States, prices have certainly been going up!

Give Max @ Revival a call - he'll have a good idea of current prices.

I haven't seen it but given some of the cars I seen going through Max 30/35k for a nice 69?

blimey I best get back on the old girl. Yep I will have to give Max a call.

If that is as nice as it looks, I'm thinking more than £30-35k, but then I'm a layman. But it looks beautiful.

thank you.. it's not looking it's best with it being left in storage for some time.. 11 miles between the MOT's ops.

but with a few weekends work and repaint of the bonnet she will be back up to where she was.. Before I er parted terms shall we say I had in mind to start a winter project of all the suspension off, powder coat and back on with all the new parts I had gathered. that has not taken place yet but poss towards the end of the year I will revisit that. I have a 4 poster ramp to use now so will make it easy.. too old for messing about on the floor!

I do need to buy new engine mounts for the car.. I will need to get back onto the hunt for a newer gearbox mount again I expect there £0 more to the price I was looking at before £50 now £500 I think Mr Moss did the engine mounts in that purple stuff have to get back on the web site. Paint is still quite good a few marks but with some polish and a machine.. That engine in the car is my spare engine of 2. I have not got around to building the orginal one with all the saved expensive parts from the many trips to the US with my suit case! how I got so much weight though on the check in scales I will never know! Sir you have 4 piston and barrels in with your T shirts is this normal? er yes? is it? Shasta's! nice!

Plus not that I think it adds to the value but my car has been signed by this man



You might recognize his Grandfather as i was lucky enough, to work on his house a number of times. super nice chap to.. helped me with my Pre A project. Oh well I best get it looked into..
