Thanks Timo
I was worried about the perf and they did a great job of replicating the original design.

Those look brilliant Knoxy!

Can I ask who the manufacturer of the replica Recaro seats were that you had trimmed?
Also did you have the vinyl changed on the back seats as well? I love the idea of the leather but wondered if you notice the vinyl elswhere in the car more when it is next to the leather or if they both sit well together?

Hi Seven
I dont know what make the seats are, the were supplied by Rennsport in 2011. I actually ordered vinyl with houndstooth but they were on a long lead time so I settled for vinyl with basketweave centres. The leather is diffferent from the various parts in 48 year old vinyl on the car. In my experience the original door cards, rear seats and dash are not identical as was the case with the original seats. I feel it all ties in fine, the Napa is smooth enough to apply some hi gloss silicone polish to make them look more plastiky but I dont fancy that.
Nice smell when you open the door too.
I'll get a better idea in the daylight.

Thanks very much Knoxy! Your car looks fantastic and I can imagine it smells great

.
If you get a chance to post more pictures when you get the car out that would be great. Did you look at any other seats before selecting the ones from Rennsport as I am very interested in getting a pair? Would anyone else have any recommendations for this type of seat?
