My Speed Yellow 911 RS esque 72 (;

Post by Bootsy »

Pictures as promised.

Spec is......

72 2.4T, reshelled with a galvanised 78 SC shell. Backdated panels from 72 and RS kit added.

Porsche Speed Yellow with blue decals

Rebuilt 2.4 with pressure fed tensioners (from 3.2) and a bit of tweeking - dyno'd at 165bhp at the wheels.

Later 3.0 brakes and running gear.

Later interior from a Turbo 2 - blue leather, electric windows and seats - bit of a cop out but very comfy (being changed to a lightweight esque interior) !

Prototipo to be fitted.

16 inch colour coded fuchs.

Rebuilt 915 gearbox by Lodge Sports (500 miles)

Great fun to drive, fast and comfy (but not for long - the comfy bit that is) !

Thank you, Its some sort of Sports Exhaust - sounds really nice although loud! There is a makers stamp on it and I'll try and see what it says.

P.S Anyone need a stock exhaust box, I have a very good condition one up for grabs :wink:

I'm just driving it and enjoying it at the moment - I'm using it occassionally for work and its proving a nice practical runaround.

I may, may hot rod it a bit more in the Winter but this Summer its just driving!

Thoughts in my head include something more like this!!!!!! :lol: :lol: :lol: At least the styling
